Polling Places Combined for 2020 Primary Election
May 27, 2020
Pottawattamie County has set five regional polling locations that will be open on June 2 for the 2020 Primary Election in June. Traditionally Pottawattamie County has 40 polling locations available for a Primary Election, but that number has been reduced due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
We do not anticipate having large crowds at the polling place thanks to the record breaking number of absentee ballots requested by mail for a Primary Election. We greatly appreciate Pott County's citizens stepping up and doing their part!
We have partnered with Abraham Lincoln High School, Thomas Jefferson High School, Lewis Central Middle School, Oakland City Hall, and Underwood Middle School to provide facilities that are large enough to allow us to enforce social distancing practices.
We understand that traveling to a regional polling place will be inconvenient for many of our voters and we appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
Please visit https://elections.pottcounty-ia.gov/elections/info/primary_election_2020_06_02/ for a complete breakdown of the regional polling places.
